GOTHO
Italy
Gotho are an experimental instrumental duo that formed in summer 2020. Their first track, “Gatta De Blanc”, appeared in live studio video on YouTube.
The song is a 25 minutes composition in which most of the stylistic features that characterize the band are already found.
Synthesizers, electric piano and drums are the only instruments (no backing tracks or loops or overdubs).
The presence of progressive rock, metal, jazz, disco music, psychedelia, post rock, classical makes impossible to identify them with a single genre. Gotho have already collected many live performances around the country, with excellent feedback.
In October 2022, they published their first album “MindBowling” for Controcanti Produzioni, which was later distributed by da Black Widow Records. The album was very well reviewed.
In November 2024, the album “Gothron Versus Fartark” is released by Supernatural Cat. It is set in a science fiction world, telling the story of the battles between two robotic enemies, fighting for their worlds’ fate.
Gotho are:
Fabio Cuomo (Elder, Eremite, Liquido Di Morte) on synth and electric piano.
Andrea Peracchia (Tons, Dogs For Breakfast, Slaiver) on drums
NEW ALBUM
We did Mind Bowling for the same reason we did Gotho, to play in a band in total
freedom to use strange and unusual musical solutions in our work. To have the
freedom to write things harmonicly or rithmically unexpected without the
problem to have to be in the parameters of a musical genre.
We are this, we are Fabio (synths, rodhes piano and pedals), and Andrea (Drums,
percussions and gong). The album is a studio live recording without any overdub.
4 instrumental tracks made of keyboards and drums; in witch you can find metal, jazz, punk, disco music, latin music, progrock, psychedelic rock….
Ideal for sophisticated music lovers, and for m e t a l h e a d s b l a s t b e a t lovers.
Andrea Peracchia (Tons, Dogs For Breakfast, Slaiver) alla batteria
