L’album include 8 brani che ripercorrono le esperienze personali vissute in questi ultimi difficili anni dove ognuno può trovare parte di sé, dentro una bugia, sperando sia solo temporanea. Si parla di emozioni, di amori perduti e di sentimenti, di insicurezze ma anche di certezze. Profonde riflessioni tradotte da linguaggi musicali differenti senza mai risultare esercizi di stile fini a se stessi, si trovano quindi riferimenti al rock, blues e folk irrorati da un’elettronica elegante e mai invasiva. Il sound trascende quindi da qualsiasi genere grazie anche alla super band, che accompagna Cesare (chitarre e programmazione) e Georgeanne (voce), composta da Fabio Rondanini, Roberto Dell’Era e Raffaele “Rabbo” Scogna.

Guest musicians on album: Fabio Rondanini (CALIBRO 35, AFTERHOURS, SILVESTRI) on drums, Roberto Dell’Era (AFTERHOURS, THE WINSTONS) on bass, and Raffaele “Rabbo” Scogna (DIODATO, NIC CESTER, SELTON) on keyboards.
The album includes 8 songs that retrace personal experiences lived in these past couple difficult years in which everyone can find a part of themselves, living within a lie, hoping it will only be temporary. Themes revolve around feelings and lost loves, and sentiments and insecurities, but also certainties. These deep reflections, translated through a variety of musical languages, never come off as pure exercises in style for the sake of style alone, with references therefore to Rock, Blues, and Folk sprinkled with elegant, yet never invasive electronics. The sound thus transcends any genre thanks also to the exceptional band Cesare is accompanied by (guitars and programming) and Georgeanne (vocals), composed of Fabio Rondanini, Roberto Dell’Era and Raffaele “Rabbo” Scogna.

Georgeanne Kalweit è una singer-songwriter nativa di Minneapolis.
Inizia ad alternare la sua attività tra musica ed arti figurative per le quali si trasferisce in Italia per conseguire la laurea in pittura/incisione e storia dell’arte. Nella scena musicale italiana, si contraddistingue in fretta diventando cantante dei Delta V negli album “Monaco ‘74” e “Le cose cambiano”. E’ leader delle band Kalweit and The Spokes e The Kalweit Project con cui ha tenuto decine di concerti negli States. Ha inoltre preso parte a diversi progetti di artisti italiani, tra cui The Dining Rooms, Vinicio Capossela e Calibro 35.
Cesare Malfatti è un chitarrista e produttore milanese.
Inizia la sua attività nel 1986 con I Weimar Gesang per passare nel 1989 agli Afterhours fino al 1992 quando assieme a Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi fonda i La Crus, con cui nel 2011 parteciperà al Festival di Sanremo. Oltre agli album dei La Crus, Cesare prende parte come produttore a “Eldorado” album dei Mau Mau e fonda con Stefano Ghittoni il progetto The Dining Rooms, che pubblicherà undici album per Schema Records e che vedrà diversi brani inclusi nelle colonne sonore di note serie TV americane. Parallelamente, intraprende la carriera da solista pubblicando quattro album e partecipa alla nascita del progetto Amor Fou, che lascerà dopo la pubblicazione del primo album “La stagione del cannibale”.
[EN] Georgeanne Kalweit is a singer-songwriter native of Minneapolis. She started alternating between music and figurative arts many years ago, which is why she moved to Italy to study Art History as part of her degree in Painting and Printmaking. She quickly distinguished herself in the Italian music scene by becoming the lead singer of Delta V in the albums Monaco ’74 and Le cose cambiano. She is the leader of the bands The Kalweit Project, and Kalweit and The Spokes with whom she performed a dozen of concerts in the States. She has also taken part in a variety of projects by several Italian artists, including The Dining Rooms, Vinicio Capossela, and Calibro 35.
Cesare Malfatti is a Milanese guitarist and producer. He began playing in 1986 with Weimar Gesang then moved on to Afterhours from 1989 – 1992 when, together with Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, he founded La Crus with whom he participated in the televised Sanremo Music Festival in 2011. In addition to the albums by La Crus, Cesare took part as a producer in the album Eldorado by Mau Mau and founded the project The Dining Rooms with Stefano Ghittoni who have released eleven albums for Schema Records, with several songs included in the soundtracks of some well-known American TV series. At the same time, he embarked on a solo career, releasing four albums and participating in the birth of the Amor Fou project, which he would leave after the release of the first album La stagione del cannibale.
